The idea of kids caring for kids established by Laura 28 years ago, still holds true today. The organizing committee is comprised of grades 11 and 12 students at Lockerby who all possess a passion for helping others.

This cancer drive brings enthusiasm, energy and compassion to each committee that is chosen yearly.

It is without a doubt that this campaign is so successful because of the hard work and dedication of these leaders.  

They pour their heart and soul into every aspect of it and along with the Cotesta Family ensure that Laura’s story and the history of how it all started is not missed.

The staff and administration at Lockerby Composite High School continue their pledge made in 1995 in making a difference to Pedeatric Cancer Care in our community.
